We are proud to be part of our supplier Barry Callebaut’s ‘Growing Great Chocolate’ program. This program focuses on 3 main responsibilities:
Growing cocoa quality:
We support the cooperatives in the program and their member farmers in growing more and better quality cocoa beans and through educational programs like our Farmer Field Schools ensuring high quality sustainable future crops.
Growing farmer income:
Through direct partnerships with cooperatives of cocoa farmers, and by guaranteeing a fair price for the cocoa beans, we contribute to a better income for cocoa farmers.
Growing quality of life:
Engaging in improving livelihoods for cocoa farmer families and their access to education, health care and clean water. The end result of this scheme safeguards the cocoa crop we all love so much for generations to come as well as providing the highest quality cocoa today for us to make our products with for your enjoyment.For now this is the darkest chocolate we make at 72.5% cocoa this bar bucks the trend that the darker you go the more bitter the chocolate. Beautifully intense and smooth without the bitter notes. DAIRY FREE, GLUTEN FREE.
