The National Trust

The National Trust owns a staggering 40% of the Cornish coastline, which it protects and preserve through its conservation campaigns.

We are delighted to announce that we are the only company linked to the Trust to supply a grocery shop and delivery service to guests staying at any of its 178 holiday cottages in Cornwall and West Devon.

In committed support of the crucial work of the Trust, we have pledged to make a donation to its "Coast 2015" scheme, for every purchase made by its holidaying guests.

The National Trust is responsible for the care and restoration of an eclectic mix of holiday cottages in Cornwall which are available to book all year round, and includes a water tower at Trelissick, near the City of Truro, and a romantic cliff top Castle at Port Quin, on the northern Cornish coastline.

Over the past 50 years, the "Neptune Coastline Campaign" has enabled the National Trust to buy an incredible 574 miles of glorious coastline, nationwide, bringing the total coastline in its care to 775 miles. Hundreds of thousands of people have donated to the Campaign in support of its coastal work, which costs the Trust £3,000 per year, to care for each mile it owns, so that future generations can continue to enjoy this beautifully dramatic and diverse landscape.

In honour of the success of the Neptune Coastline Campaign and to mark its 50th anniversary, the National Trust has launched "Coast 2015" to celebrate and promote further awareness of its coastal conservation work and help grow the nation's love of these special places. The National Trust invites supporters to help raise funds to further support its coastal work over the next 10 years and will engage with people to improve and increase their access to the amazing coastline in its care.
